In February 2008 Council published in the Northern Growth Management Framework newsletter, that Mark Avenue extension would be completed by April and opened soon after. On 6th May Council advised us that the extension would be open in two months. The Assn. was informed by other Association’s at a combined Northern Residents Assn. meeting (19 May) that the opening of this road could be delayed up to three years.
Please advise us whether this new information is correct and how this might affect development in the Grenada area.
Does Council still intend completing the Mark Avenue link before completing the proposed Westchester extension?

Mark Avenue extension will be complete by the end of August 2008. While the road will be open for use by the public when construction is complete the official opening will not be until early October when the Mayor, Councillors and the local community can meet to celebrate its completion.
